Welcome to cotax, where we guide you through the tax return process smoothly and efficiently. When you sign in, you will answer a limited amount of questions that are relevant for your tax return, confirm the results, and then submit!

These terms and conditions (hereinafter also referred to as “T&C”) apply to websites and mobile application ( referred to as “app”) offered and operated by SN Cooperation GmbH, in particular, www.cotax.ch (hereinafter also referred to as “service”. If the user does not accept the T&C, the use of Website and the mobile application are prohibited.
It is worth to note, that by using our website or downloading our app, you knowledge that you accept our T&C and our Privacy Policy.
Cotax is an online service helping users prepare their tax returns. Registering an account is necessary to use the service, however registration is free of charge.
You should be aware that cotax does not provide legal or tax advice. Tips and notes provided in the app or the website are only to support you submit your tax return. The service calculates tax return based on the input the user provides, including to: title, name, marital status, employment, address, religious affiliation, occupation, employer, annual wage tax statement or most recent payroll slip, second household, responsible tax office, tax identification number, education and vocational training, expenses for work equipment, job applications, professional associations, income from capital assets, bank statements, the balance by end of the year of the user all accounts. income from any sale of commodities (excluding income from pension schemes), insurance schemes, health expenses, surviving dependency, disabilities, nursed persons, personal information of children living in the same household, parents or other persons, donations, church tax, household expenses, expenses from pension schemes, permanent expenses.
After you upload all the important documents, cotax will provide you with a confirmation page to confirm if you provided all the required documents or you need to make a change, also details of service fee will be clearly included. Once you confirm this step, you will receive a notification in the app states that you successfully submitted your tax filling documents
Here in cotax, we prepare your tax return accurately however, we do not make any claim that the tax return prepared by the service is accurate when the user receives the tax return from us. The result cotax provides is non-binding calculation.
By registering with us you confirm that you give us your correct age and actual place of residence and that you have all the necessary authorizations to provide us with the data and documents that you provide to us (e.g. by entering data or uploading documents).
As a consumer of cotax, you will receive your Tax return completed and printed out with other documents to the address you provide to us.
Your obligations as a user:
You will provide us with the correct details when you apply for the cotax tax return service and ensure that you are of legal age and live in Switzerland. You can pay the applicable rates for these services if you are using paid services. You will keep your username and password safe and confidential. Any operation performed on cotax with your username will be credited to you.
You agree to assist us in the fulfillment of our contractual obligations and if requested, undertake to provide us with any additional details. You accept to promptly inform us in writing of any changes to your location, phone number and email address.
You agree that the email address stored during registration will be kept active and checked regularly. All communications sent by cotax to this e-mail address shall be considered to be approved by you.
You can only use cotax and all related resources and information in a legal manner and for valid purposes, in particular with regard to tax regulations.
You agree not to violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation in connection with your use of the App and our website, including but not limited to the following;
